What changed

We check every drug each week. Here is what changed each time, newest first.

  • ALS Tracker launched, following drugs in development for ALS plus approved treatments and drugs that were stopped.
  • Every value links to its sources. Signal scores show how often and how reliably each company gives updates.
  • Evidence is now judged on all key studies, including failed trials and independent real-world studies, not just the best result. Green is used only when several controlled trials agree.
  • Approved drugs now show each regulator's decision, with a flag when regulators disagree (for example, edaravone is approved in the USA and Japan but not in the EU).
  • Every drug has a one-line bottom line, and effects are given in ALSFRS-R points as well as percentages.
  • New "Early pipeline" section listing 13 drugs in their first safety trials in people, including ACE-2223, AMX0114, INS1202 and CK0803. They are kept apart from the main table because they have not yet been tested for whether they help.
  • Added QRL-201 (QurAlis) and NB-4746 (Nura Bio) to the main table.
  • Corrected overstated headlines for ropinirole, SPG302, pridopidine, dazucorilant, PrimeC and others. PrimeC moved from Phase 3 to Phase 2 because no Phase 3 has started.
